Hi there list,
as soon as I noticed Compiz in Debian repositories I couldn't help trying
it out on my iBook G4.
I have edited my xorg.conf and added the Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" in
the Device section, added the "Extensions" section, restarted X and then
started compiz with:

I upgraded various packages today. After doing that I rebooted the
machine, with the battery removed as always the last time, feeding the
machine with AC.
But obviously the system now calculated the machine being on battery
