How to unlock a hfs partition?

etch hang on ibm JS21 and power 5 505

Hi, i wanted to run debian etch on a IBM power pc. So i tried to install etch on a JS21 Blade and on a Power 5 505. The installation works fine. But at the first boot the system hangs and nothing happens. I did not found anything and did not know what is wrong. So where can i get some
