I'm running Debian Etch on a rev a iMac G5 (PowerMac8,1) and just upgraded today from linux-image-2.6.16-2-powerpc64 (vers 2.6.16-18) to linux-image-2.6.17-2-powerpc64 (vers 2.6.17-9). Under 2.6.16, the fan control seemed to be working and it was nice and quite. Under 2.6.17, the fan is not being
