Hey guys. I've downloaded all of the floppy images for booting my 9500 into the installer, but whenever I boot with the rescue disk in the floppy drive, it simply gets spit out. If I insert the disk into the system while running MacOS 9.1, it gives me a "Filesystem not recongnized, would you like t

Thanks for setting me straight Chris. But after booting with the hfs-boot-floppy.img inserted, i still dont get anywhere. You can hear the drive being accessed, and the tux/mac computer icon comes up, but then my screen goes black and the floppy is spit out, without a request for root.bin in sight

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Right now, untill everything gets together, im just switching the cable back and forth between machines. But AT&T allows up to three different machines per account. i figured id do an ip masquerade setup, but that wont be untill i know i can get the debian machin
