dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
and disabled either dri or glx or both, to no avail. X just doesn't

I have installed debian etch without problems.
After the startup, at the login, I get the error message quoted in the
subject line.
The graphics card is a NVidia GeForce FX Go5200. It is connected to the
AGP bus.
