One more thing : MacBook pro is out :-) The specification seems to be
great, up to 4 time faster the the powerbook, intel dual core,
isight, ... Hmm It's exiting me
But, how about debian on it, only install the x86 version or need to
do some little hack before ?

process gone well but during upgrage the system hang when installing

I'd like to know if some of you managed to run gdesklets-daemon without
any trouble in a ppc laptop with Debian/Sid. Here it works but also uses
100 % of the CPU. Then, the system get hot rapidly and becom very slow.

I've just finish to install debian on my albook 15" :-) . I've used
debian-installer pre-rc2 for this and the installation was successfull.
The only problem is the keyboard under xfree. With the consol, it's all
right. The keyboard behave just as in mac os x. But, under xfree I
couldn't get
klight keyboard?

- airport ? (I have a doubt on it)

Have you try the debian Installer. I used the beta 4 version to install
debian on my powerbook, and it works well. You can get it in the debian
installer web sit. I don't know the addresse but you can do "google ->
debian installer".

Is it possible to configure Openfirmware so that it can boot directly
debian. When booting I always have to open OF and type "boot
hd:9,yaboot" otherwise my machine boot directly with mac os 10.3
