I might be on the wrong track, but is journalling disabled? Because it
should be. Just had a similar problem with a OSX hfsplus hard disk
under linux...

Hi,
This seems a very good solution for the current problem. One thing I
would add would be software suspend support. Alsa seems to have
trouble resuming if the state is different from when it was
suspended-to-disk, headphone detection seems to be wrong, volumes
mixed up etc.
I'm afraid I can't
give this a try!
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2fsx/
I mount /home as a seperate drive in OSX, rw no problem
also works with ext3
using 10.3.9

Hello list
I've recently upgraded to a 2.6.14 kernel, and then off course
recompiled the mol module for use with the new kernel. Problem is
molvconfig will only detect 8bit colour depth as working modes
resulting in quite an ugly/unworkable OSX. Has anyone experienced
this? Rebooting back into

hope this helps

I tried (2.6.10) old kernel and brightness works, in 2.6.14 nothing

good job!
but shouldn't this be main news on the list? I think I'm not the only

I'll try to check that new option later this week and mail my findings

I'd say everything is back to normal. Whatever you do, if you're on
ppc leave preemtion off (for now), as was stated before. Here are some

I finally managed to recompile my kernel. I'm running 2.6.12-rc6 now
without PREEMPT. Everything seems ok. I will do some compilation now
and report succes/error

When I recompile the same code, same flags etc, sometimes it works. So
