qwerty mode while with the exact same configuration it's correctly
running azerty on a 2.4.24-ben1 or with an equivalent config on a 2.6.3

mail on DebianPPC: a Samsung CDRW/DVD that would not eject discs nor
play, nor anything.
I patched a 2.4.24-ben1 with your code and now the CD features are
working fine. I didn't test burning CDs or playing DVDs yet.

Every so often, my USB mouse (MS-Intellimouse 2 buttons + wheel) suffurs
a spurious disconnection and right after that a re-connection. The cable
is fine, I think.
The problem is that it comes back as another device and X doesn't follow
this re-organization. Thus the mouse pointer is stuck.
