line in kernel/sys.c, in the kernel_power_off() function, then it works
again, but I haven't had the time to look further.

Strange, you seem to be the only one having this problem so please
doublecheck your setup.
That being said, I didn't try -mm1 myself, just plain Linus tree, so
maybe some other patch conflicts with the Fn key one.
What is the usb id of your keyboard (lsusb) ?
