didn't seem to change anything (as i wasn't able to find any kind of
documentation of the relevant hardware on the Apple WWW site). So
i'm looking for ideas on how to fix this. Anyone been here bef

I tried the older binary on the 'www.cons.org' site and it faulted
immediately. 'cmucl' compiles itself, so it's non-trivial to build

This one i've been able to work around. However, an unclean disk
seems to be correlated with not being able to start up MOL at all.
There are other modes of failure, but these are the most repeatable.

I'll be interested to hear other people's reports on this. Myself, i'd
