"import java.io.*;" i get the
same SIGILL error,
again at java.util.Hashtable.rehash(Hashtable.java(Compiled Code)).
Anyone else has the same problem??

Hi David, recently i had the same problem with 2.6 and it was
because i forgot to build pci support in the kernel.
Hope it helps ;-)
I am also having problems booting the new kernel.
It complains about being unable to mount the root VFS hda11 or "hda11"
The kernel image is compiled with xfs
