Have you tried taking a look at alsamixer? With my Powerbook 12", I had to use alsamixer to unmute some things (can't remember off the top of my head) and then used alsactl to store those settings so that they were remembered on next boot. Regards, Wee-Jin -- ___

Hi all, Is there anyway to get the nv driver to work with the vga-out on my Powerbook 12" with a fx5200? I've tried playing around with the CrtcNumber option but it doesn't seem to do anything and instead, I get a blank screen on both monitor and LCD. Any help on the subject will be appreciated.
