way, the OS 9 System folder can remain blessed (and selecting m in the boot
menu boots it), but you can still boot OS X too. So I think then, to get this
working, you need to select the OS 9 System folder in the Startup Disk
control panel. I don't know about the "system hanging after it loads BootX,"
it certainly never did on my TiBook I 500. I'd suggest giving this a try, it
worked for me.
