OS X has FUSE now, so perhaps it can read and write Ext2/3 as there
is a FUSE driver for that.
I doubt FUSE is capable of reading local devices.. I only know sshfs +

Hi,
Anybody knows how to burn a bootable cd using cdrecord ? With a simple
command `cdrecord dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 boot.iso' , i'm able to burn a cd with
exact same data in boot.iso, but i can't boot from it. Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Hi, folks.
I'm using an ibook. When in eshell, it seems that eshell can't receive C-c
signal to kill a process ? e.g, find and then try C-q C-c. It used to work
fine on my pc. Any ideas?

Mac OSX will boot as default. How to set debian as the default boot system?

'mplayer -vo fbdev2 *.avi', i get an error as follows. Any ideas?

playing things with mplayer, the sound is mixed with some irregular
voices, the xmms has no such problem. One more question, how can
two applications use the sound device at the same time?

An annoying problem, the mixer won't work at all. The volume keeps still.
`aumix' complains aumix: SOUND_MIXER_READ_DEVMASK. I think i've built
in all the necessary modules. Any ideas? thanks in advance.

It was using the radeon framebuffer. It seemed that X wasn't upgraded,
which is odd, so I apt removed it, clean the cache, and reinstalled and
xfree86 4.3 works Thanks *so* much for your help.

Good to see I am not the *only* one with these problems :) Did you apply
both those kernel patches, as they are for 2.6.6? I am busy compiling
2.6.7 now but will apply those patches if needed.
