could run happily for another hour or more. Pmud probably put the machine to sleep mode too early. It went back to normal (better extrapolations of battery power left) after a 2 or 3 cycles. Cool. I'll try that. Thanks! Marshal

;-) Jesse The bootloader stuff is a bit different from PCs, but besides that, I've had no problems switching from PC's to PowerPCs. Read the installation guide, especially that part about partitions, and bootloaders. Besides that, I think most things are the same. Good Luck! Marshal

Getting a mixed testing/unstable system.
