This wasn't an issue with the 2.4.19 kernel I have been using.

Damn. I'll go searching though, since in Japan, they seem to keep old

Any possibility of reconditioning the battery?

config files have the driver set
deFreese, to r128, etc. My driver is fbdev, should I be using
deFreese, r128?
Yep. I think the fbdev device is kind of restricted. So use the
r128 Driver, with the UseFBDev Option.
Good luck!

Hi all!
Is there a way to turn down the volume of the keyboard bell? 'Cause it
is LOUD, especially when you have headphones on.
I don't mind editing and recompiling the kernel, if that's what it
takes.
This is under dma_sound.
Thanks in Advance.

How did you partition the drive? Did you use the drive utility under
MacOS? If you did and chose A/UX Linux partitions, you'll probably
have to just repartitions it again with mac-fdisk. It's part of the
installation process.
good luck!

The bootloader stuff is a bit different from PCs, but besides that,
I've had no problems switching from PC's to PowerPCs. Read the
installation guide, especially that part about partitions, and
bootloaders. Besides that, I think most things are the same.
Good Luck!

make this

Hello,
