I'm replying to myself here since I didn't have any answer except one report from somebody having the same problem as I do... I just would like to know if anybody has a working i2c system on an albook, and how i2c is configured in their system. This way, it might be more easy to file a proper bug

Hi list, I recently compiled a 2.6.4 kernel from mainstream. I first had compiled the radeonfb driver as a module, which turned out to be a big mistake, so I compiled again, setting it as static. Now, nearly everything is fine. However, I'm using a PB 15" and I can't use the i2c devices anymore.
