What machine are you using? What version of alsa? Just to warn you, alsa is pretty unstable on ppc hardware, at least the newer laptops. You're probably better off using the oss support unless you want to do something more advanced than simply listening to music. -Brett On Sat, Mar 01, 2003 at 0
