Configuring sound on G4 PowerBook

This has probably been explained several times on this list, but searching the archives didn't turn up anything with the search words I used :( I installed Woody a couple days ago and it is working fine so far -- except I have no sound. Can someone point me to a howto or something similar? TIA

NB: I never tried the softmodem. The current iBooks also have a softmodem. It exists a driver for it. You will find it with google. If you find it, you should also use an init string like this: ATZM0L0 If not, it might behave strange when dialling. Bye, Claas
