Hi all, I posted a while back about how to create RAID volumes and got some excellent advice. I didn't anticipate having a problem getting the OS installed in the first place. From watching this list for a while, it seems like this is the best place to get answers The machine is a Blue and White G3

Well, after a long night of lather, rinse, reboot, I tracked down the "missing disks" problem to BootX 1.1.3. Presumably it's incompatible with MacOS 9? Anyway, with music playing I couldn't hear that the disk was spinning down just before booting the kernel and never spinning back up again. I
