Sorry, but I'm back! I've got my Airport card installed and the airport module loaded, but I can't connect to my Belkin F5D6130 WAP. I've tried fiddling with every permutation of switches on iwconfig but to no avail. Any thoughts anybody.
I've included the output from dmesg, iwconfig, /proc/net/wireless if this helps. Many thanks, Andrew dmesg trace: hermes.c: 5 Apr 2002 David Gibson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> orinoco.c 0.11b (David Gibson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and others) airport.c 0.11b (Benjamin Herrenschmidt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) eth1: Station identity 001f:0001:0004:0010 eth1: Looks like a Lucent/Agere firmware version 4.16 eth1: Ad-hoc demo mode supported eth1: MAC address 00:30:65:04:9B:96 eth1: Station name "HERMES I" eth1: ready airport: card registered for interface eth1 powerg4:~# iwconfig eth1 Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 14 of Wireless Extension, while this program is using version 15.
