I'm replying to myself because I finally found the solution. In the
xorg.conf I replaced the following line :
Driver fbdev
with :
Driver radeon
I don't understant why the dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg didn't write
the correct config.

I upgraded to xorg 7.0 on my ibook 2.2 running Debian testing and I'm now unable
to launch the X server. I found some similar problems in the archive of this
list (for example this one :

solve it. Does someone know
