I have done another upload of Ghostscript 9.06 now (9.06~dfsg~20120803-0ubuntu1). It has a new repackaging, leaving the code of libopenjpeg in. I use the Ghostscript-shipped libopenjpeg as the upstream developers of Ghostscript have done major changes on it and these changes did not make it int

Note that the RC1/snapshot source tarball has an icclib/ directory in its original version. This made the impression for me that Ghostscript uses libicc somewhere, but it does not do so any more nowadays. I have talked with the upstream developers and the iclib/ directory and the references in
