Debian Live version on CD

Hi I'm fresh in Linux and I would like to try the Debian. Both the CD and DVD version is so huge to download. (I have a slow adsl at home) I wonder your have the "Debian Live" version on CD or a Core version so I can install on USB thumb drive and learn it. (Ignoring those additional softwares)
