Nothing prevents to have both: start on the wiki, when the content is
judged to be "good enough" the wiki page is blogged, then let it stay as
a wiki page to be improved further. Attach more bits of workflow to make
it eventually end up on flossmanuals, developers' reference complements
and so on.
