Hello, Fabian Unfortunately, the latest Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 requires at least 44 MB RAM [0]. Maybe you could try Debian 4.0 Etch or Etch and half (the oldstable now), and with a base system install first (around 24 MB ram) install only lightweight GUI environments like XFCE or FVWM, for example.

Good Evening, My name is Fabian. I'm work at the University of the State of Mato Grosso - Brazil. We get a toshiba satellite notebook k6 2 300 mhz, 32 mb of ram and 4 gb of hd. How can i install debian into this machine? I tried some distros like dizinha or puppy, but had no success. Please i need
