For darcs there is not one particular command to do the check, but the
darcs IRC channel said this:
pabs3: you could try `curl REPO_LOCATION/_darcs/hashed_inventory`
(if it's an old format repo (pre darcs 2), then that file won't
exist, you'll need to try _darcs/inventory)
