Bug#974756: idle3-tools: Needs support for drives behind controllers

Package: idle3-tools Version: 0.9.1-2 `idle3ctl` needs an implementation of `smartctl`'s -d option in order to talk to disks behind hardware RAID controllers. This is nearly a bug in smartmontools of the code for the -d option needing to turn into a library so other low-level tools can utilize it
