Package: vim-latexsuite Version: 20060325-5 Severity: grave While \cite{<F9> works like a charm now, using [] on the citation is a good way to lose everything since the last :write. Maybe this is due to natbib, which uses [] on \cite commands, I don't know if plain texlive does that too.
\citep[p. 123]{Rogers<F9> this will cause three buffers to be opened in the window, one of another .tex file in the same project, then the [Quickfix List] and finally a preview of the same .tex file that was opened in the first buffer. Curiously, this behaviour is different if the file was just :written before <F9> was called. Then, obviously, no data is list, and the file I was editing is the one shown on both sides of the [Quickfix List]. The original buffer of the file one was editing is still available, but has been reverted to the last write. This can hurt.
