Hello,
I upgraded yesterday the KDE on my sarge system to the sid version 3.3.1-1 and
this problem disappeared. I propose
- to give this bugreport a tag sarge
- and hope that 3.3.1 makes it into sarge.
Thanks,
Rainer

I found that kaddressbook doesn't include the email adresses into the
exported vcf-file (neither v2.1 nor 3.0) although they are present in the
used resource.
This happens both inside kontact and standalone.
Pls let me know if you need more
Hello,
is there a chance that kde 3.3.x will be avaliable for Debian Sarge?
As I can see there are only few (three?) bugs and two of them seems to
be not too serious/easy to squish (according to messages avaliable at
bugs.debian.org).
Please answer me directly since I'm not a member of this

You are right, installing xfonts-konsole and uncommenting some part of an
obscure config file fixes the problem but do you really expect fresh Debian
users to do such artistics!?

What errors do you get? Do you try to unmount it while the removable media
is still open in konqueror? If so, try closing konqueror first and then
unmounting it.
No, the Konqueror window is closed.
Yeah - it would be nice if the desktop watched the mount status (I'm not
sure how to do
hi all,
the purpose of this mail is to explain to the Release Team the
(straightforward) proposal that the KDE Team has come up with to
ensure a safe transition of KDE 3.3 to sarge.
in a nutshell, the intention is the same as that of some weeks ago:
let it happen all at once.

In the bug history, I read this:
I'll check whether it is reasonable to enable the bitmap fonts by
default. I'm seeing improved aliasing stuff in the CVS, so it will
probably be possible with the next upstream release.
Do you think it would be reasonable to enable bitmap fonts by default? I

Are you one of the normal KDE maintainers? (Sorry, I'm not up-to-date on
KDE maintenance.) If so, I can do the sponsoring.
