FYI: libqt4-*-4:4.8.1-2 packages let krunner crash immediately when desktop
opened.
This is true on several systems indpendently.

I also witnessed this bug both with 4.7.4 and 4.8.3 on Debian on amd64
for upgraded sessions:
what I did was to upgrade from testing to unstable
- crash
installing kde-workspace and other kde related packages from
experimental - also crash.
used :
kde-workspace-bin_4%3a4.
