Yesterday evening I got updates for several other qml-related packages to
5.7.1~20161021-5 from buildd-unstable. After I installed those, sddm and
plasma-workspace worked again without problems.

I discovered today your report which states that there might be an issue with
the kipi-plugins for exporting to Flash. Does it still happen to you? It
installed fine on my computer with newest gwenview from Debian.

it seems to me that you forgot to install libasound2-dbg to have all debugging
symbols. Can you still reproduce the crash and try to send a crash report to

As i decide to have 'recommends=no' i ran into a problem with ksysguard.
As it is missing ksysguardd which is recommend, not dependency, ksysguard fails.
It opens the gui and starts showing
