Package: kdm
Version: 4:4.11.8-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Starting kdm causes all files to be read (as config?) that sit under /boot etc.
This produces hundreds of thousands of lines of errors as follows:
May 9 09:56:15 hplaptop org.kde.kuiserver[2978]: "KConfigIni: In file
/tftpboot, line 423456: " Invalid entry (missing '=')

Installing lightdm and then starting up a kde desktop pushes the problem back
to desktop startup.
Starting xfce from lightdm does not display this problem.
