kontact (still v. 3.4.2-2 of course) seems to have problems with the
experimental 3.5rc1 packages. When composing a mail in kmail as part of
konqueror, it crashes on sending. The backtrace contains a lot of "no
debugging symbols found", however it seems to indicate that the problem occur

( http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110518 ), which is (at least this is my
experience) extremely annoying and affects the version in unstable.
I don't know your patching policy, but I would very much appreciate this bug

Sorry, of course I meant icq and jabber (not icq and kopete ;-) ) contacts.
However I have to correct that as well, the problem seems to occur only with
icq contacts. However I could not yet determine a rule with which contacts it
fails and with which it works...

After upgrading kde to 3.3, kopete does not display non-ascii
characters (in my case german umlauts) correctly. Instead of displaying
the correct character, that one and the following are treated as
