Not really only'XRender Blend' is working now, but selected icons still
look pretty bad: http://wieland.homelinux.org/bug_selected_icons.png ;
unstable-kde works fine.

If I enable the menu-transparecy in kcontrol (Appearance & Themes ->
Style -> Effects) the transparency looks broken
