Package: konqueror
Version: 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-1
Severity: minor
Starting konqueror from the command line gives me the ASSERT failure
given in the subject and konqueror keeps repeating that error ad nauseam
many times per loaded page.

Quoting upstream:
The bug is not reproducible in KDE 4. Closing this bug as WORKSFORME as that
part of konqueror has been reworked in KDE 4 and we won't fix KDE 3.5 anymore.
Thanks for reporting,
Ferdinand Ebert
