If sagemath is installed manually, the path to the manual installation
can be provided in the settings inside cantor and the backend would
work. So this bug probably could be solved adding a bit in the description 
warning the users they will need to install sagemath manually and adding
more complete instructions about how to set the path in the README.Debian.

About the Recommends: sagemath, I think it is better to remove it directly
instead of a demote to Suggests since the part about sagemath would be
already documented in the description and if we want to use properly 
recommends/suggests/depends, cantor-backend-sage needs a depende in
sagemath....
