--- Begin Message ---Package: kio Version: 5.62.1-2 Severity: normal Dear maintainer, why do the notification operations related to copying / moving a file depend on old packages of kde 4:14? If I remove these packages (previous release 4:4.14.38): "kate-data katepart kdelibs-bin kdelibs5-data kdelibs5-plugins kdoctools libgpgme++2v5 libkatepartinterfaces4 libkcmutils4 libkde3support4 libkdeclarative5 libkdecore5 libkdesu5 libkdeui5 libkdewebkit5 libkdnssd4 libkemoticons4 libkfile4 libkhtml5 libkio5 libkjsapi4 libkjsembed4 libkmediaplayer4 libknewstuff3-4 libknotifyconfig4 libkntlm4 libkparts4 libkpty4 libkrosscore4 libktexteditor4 libplasma3 libsolid4 libthreadweaver4" I get these results: - on notebook: no problem, view the animation of the circle in the system tray - on desktop: I no longer see the animation in the system tray but a separate window appears. Where is the problem? I do not think any of these kde4-related packages has anything to do with your problem, but most likely something else is. Did you compare the list of installed packages on your notebook and on your desktop to check whether the same KDE/Plasma-related packages are installed? Anyway, this is certainly not a problem in the "kio" source, and this is more like an user support query than a bug report. I recommend you to ask in our user support channels: - the debian-...@debian.org mailing list - the #debian-kde IRC channel on the OFTC IRC network Thank you anyway for your report, -- Pino Toscanosignature.asc
