bundle install failing with openssl error

Hi, I was testing diaspora package following https://wiki.debian.org/Diaspora (btw inviting more testers to fine tune this package) but bundle install --local could not be run. reported bug https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=770605 Can anyone try to reproduce and confirm this?

strange behaviour when building twitter-text
