It looks like the upstream build system insists on supplying -m64, which
would have been redundant with 64-bit userland and is actively harmful
with 32-bit us
FWIW -- I have tried to build backports using our neurodebian setup... it seem
that all 32bit userland builds (while system is running on 64bit kernel)
fail with
