yet, because of license (sigh!) problem in obscure places in the code.

Which would be a great help. Ah well, ROOT should really split the
libraries from the plug-ins, but sometimes backward compatibility weighs
more heavy than
the libroot
package, or make libroot-minuit and libroot-minuit-dev. Making rootfit
a plug-in package wouldn't work.
