Hi.
I am trying to link against a library that calls functions in another
library (in this case, coinor-symphony, the a mixed integer linear
programming solver). However, I keep running into an undefined symbols
error. Mysteriously, it works when I directly compile the object files
together, rathe

Dear Debian Science,
I was wondering how I could create new Git repositories on
Alioth. Currently, I try this:
1. Log in to Alioth
2.Try:
# cd /git/debian-science/packages
# mkdir libitpp.git
mkdir: cannot create directory `libitpp.git': Read-only file system

Dear Debian Science,
As you are aware, DebConf 10 is scheduled to take place from the 1st to
the 7th of August, 2010 in New York City, USA, and it's the biggest
event in the Debian calendar, where contributors and fans get together
to discuss the state of affairs and future directions for the Debi

thanks
Dear Debian Science,
There is an RC bug against glpk-java, which has been open for a couple
of weeks. I took the submitters advice and packaged the new version,
and it seems to build and pass all tests. The package is available
here:

Camm! Yes, it was Lapack which was uploaded to
experimental a while ago. It would be wonderful if you could resume
work on Atlas. Naturally, to the extent possible, we are very much
here to help you.
Many thanks.
