Hi,
attached there is a patch to switch the libjpeg8-dev build dependency
back to libjpeg-dev. ipe builds fine with it, and the libipe binary
switches its libjpeg8 dependency from libjpeg8 to libjpeg62-turbo.

gummi seems to build fine with multiple build jobs when building.
Thus, my suggestion is to enable the parallel build (with the
--parallel option of dh) to speed up the compilation when requested
(see also Policy §4.9.1).
