Hi everyone,
I did some work on Gmsh 3.* which should hopefully soon be ready for prime
time. One thing I've had to disable for now is OpenCascade support; Gmsh
requires 6.9.1 which is wrapped in OCE 0.18, but the latter is still only
in experimental [1] (and has the ~exp extension, whatever that
Hi Nico,
Yes, I know, because I am maintaining both oce and gmsh.
Oce is in experimental and requires transition process, which
is not started because not all reverse dependencies can be
built against 0.18. Hopefully will be fixed soon.
Cheers
Anton

Alright, thanks for the swift reply!
I'll keep an eye on oce and once this is out, there's not much more to do
for gmsh to be released.

Hi Nico,
I have done some changes on the package. It is almost ready for the upload.
But there is a problem with the auto_test:
==
...
ompi_mpi_init: ompi_rte_init failed
--> Returned "Unreachable" (-12) instead of "Success" (0)

Just returning from holidays here. I trust you managed to work around the
issue?
Btw, the next gmsh release will contain a bunch of fixes for Debian,
hopefully we should be able to come clean in d/patches then. [1]
Cheers,
Nico

Hi Nico,
I have managed to build gmsh succesfully (in experimental). Also I have uploaded
into unstable, but we need to get an OK from FTP masters because I have changed
the libname to libgmsh3.
Cheers
