Hi,
I received an email with an .xml attachment; by sanitizer, the file name was
mangled. What is the appropriate behavior for handling xml files?

I have a Woody system with snort-mysql 1.8.4beta1-2 installed. My
snort.conf contains (among others) the following lines:

output alert_fast: alert
output xml: alert, file=/perl/snort.pl protocol=http host=localhost port=80
===
I can call http://localhost/perl/snort.pl and OK, but
I have just been forwarded this issue from bugtrack, it's a package I
mantain.
I got in touch with upstream, and they will keep me updated on this.
I will upload as soon as there's a fix.
Is there anything else (Debian-security related) I should do appart form
trying to help upstream fix this?
