dmesg(8), I came to the conclusion that a simple dmesg -n1 disables
kernel's printk output to the active console.
For additional information, check bootparam(7) (search for debug),
dmesg(8) (option -n) and /usr/src/linux/kernel/printk.c

To remove a certain IP address, just subsitute del for add.
