Hi,
In context of latest problems with kernel, php ...
Lets assume that I am average user who was told that debian is stable, secure,
etc. I read some information and decided to install stable version.Subscribed
myself to debian-security-anounce added proper line to apt.sources and I feel
happy having stable, secure maybe not so modern but safe enviroment. And I'm a
litte lost, what to do ...

I think we should work out a solution for such simple user. Other way we cat
write with big letters on main page "If you are not experienced user go away" ;)

And I have one impression about many architectures. I think that iX86 is most
popular and Debian is installed on many iX86 boxes which are owned by 'average'
users. More exotic boxes are rather owned by more skilled persons who traces
events in kernel development etc.

It could be reasonable to treat architectures in different way.

In may opinion we will find many people who can do some work on demand. For
example after patching kernel-source inform group of people who will build
kernels on their boxes, test it and report status and bugs to responsible team.
Only what we need to invent this wheel.

Have a nice day :)
