Can anyone on the Debian SPARC list confirm or deny this bug? If
confirmed, this seems like a crippling, critical bug in the SPARC
boot-floppies.

I'm having some problems with XFree86.. At the suggestion of a friend, I
symlinked /dev/fb to /dev/fb0, but I still can't start X.. Here's what I get
when I try to startx:
(BTW, gpm isn't working either, see dmesg output at bottom. What should I be
using as my mouse device?)
