Surely a change in what gets defined could explain such things. What
should be tested for instead ?
This does not seem to h
Hi,
I'm thinking about grabing all October gnome debian sources for slink and
compiling it on my SPARCstation 4 (which will probably take a relatively
small number of years). After that I intend on adding a line to my
/etc/apt/sources.list pointing to the location of the packages. So here

Hello,
the console-tools package in potato is still the one from slink.
I don't know why it was not recompiled. Might be because of a change in
numbering that now uses epoch. Or is there some other issues I'm not aware of?
Regards.

Package: kbd
Version: 0.99-5
Architecture: sparc
Apply the following patch to compile on sparc because the sparc macro is not

Hello dear developers,
I heard that the latest modutils are not working well on both sparc32 &
sparc64. I'm working on boot-floppies now and, when I try to configure the
drivers, I get "ELF file not for this architecture" error during depmod.
I'm currently running 2.3.6-6.1 on SparcClassic but
Package: e2fsprogs
Version: 1.17-1
Architecture: sparc
Severity: critical
Latest mke2fs zeroes the first sector of the partition is is formating.
It is really bad on sparc when the partition starts at sector 0 because it
kills the partition table :((
I took a quick look into e2fsprogs sources: it
