I'm just begining with Linux on sparc. I have already spent somme hours to
install the lastest debian release on my sprac5 (problem with SILO) ... but
it work now :-)
Problem is 'startx'... it cannot find the mouse... I found on google that I
need to link /dev/mouse -> /dev/sun

Joshua, due to the fact that I found the SCSI adapter
already inside my Ultra5 I supposed it as being a
common feature of all new Ultra5 and I wondered if
this could be a standard one.
So this is an answer also to Rainer that, if I understood well,

I'm having a problem getting a modem connection speed other than
9600. I hacked pppd to print out the termios speeds and they are being
set properly. I also hacked chat to print out the connection speed and
it is always 9600 regardless of the speed set in the file in
/etc/ppp/peers.
