Is it actually necessary to do that? I remember concluding it looked

Actually, it's by no means necessary to extract anything, and you don't even
need SILO. Just type
boot diskN /flash-update-XYZ
when flash-update is on the first slice and on a filesystem readable by OBP
readable.
I tend to have a small external disk with just the flash updates lying

I don't have Solaris installed. I believe I tried booting it from SILO

Ben,
the flash utility is in the flashprom package on vger cvs.
Do you have access and can you put it somewhere, or do I need to send

Thanks... assuming I can hunt down the cvs repository/login information
it shouldn't be a problem.

README.solaris (1) [perlsolaris] - Perl version 5 on Solaris systems
perlsolaris (1) - Perl version 5 on Solaris systems
Why would Solaris documentation be included on Debian?
Also, a real question :) Can anyone tell me
All of the others are known hardware, so the only conclusion from
this list is:
The SunPCi card is behind the DEC 21554 bridge, i.e. on 02:03.0
There is little to figure about the card through this bridge,
you can get the datasheet from intel, but I doubt you will get
very far without

I did find:

/lib/modules/2.4.18/kernel/arch/sparc64/solaris/solaris.o
